Loved how the Martial Arts instructor sends Rooster sliding down the drawbridge to rescue Annie!

The movie was pretty good, but could have been shorter and a bit more interesting. Was still okay, just something I wouldn't watch a million times.

It was cute but i think that some parts in there may not be suitable for young boys. Really good otherwise, though!

Was fun to watch it with the kids after so many years. All the characters were stereotypes, and simply made to identify key societal elements. Was a great way to discuss some of the social elements that played out during the great depression, including the marginalization of visible minorities. It was also fun to realize how much of the songs I still remembered... given I hadn't listened to the record since childhood.

Dreadful racism with "Punjab", not recommended.

Sexual Content: kissing on bosom and too much sexually explicit flirting. I was shocked and upset that I let my kids watch.

Coarse Language: awful and unnecessary..

Impossible_Wolf Apr 06, 2015

Frightening or Intense Scenes: The end scene is pretty intense, as Annie is threatened with death and almost falls off of a tall tower.

Impossible_Wolf Apr 06, 2015

Sexual Content: Miss Hannigan drunkenly flirts with almost every man she comes across, and she tries to seduce Warbucks when he tries to adopt Annie. (She fails.) Grace and Warbucks kiss.

Impossible_Wolf Apr 06, 2015

Violence: Miss Hannigan is drunk 99% of the time, and threatens to beat the children several times. A man throws a bomb into Warbucks' mansion. Nobody is harmed. Rooster threatens to kill Annie towards the end, and he seems to mean it. He tries to loosen her grip on a tower she's clinging onto, and she cries and screams for help. She is eventually saved.

Impossible_Wolf Apr 06, 2015

Coarse Language: A few uses of "d*mn" and "godd*mn," used specifically to get a PG Rating.
