Not much spoiler alert needed, because the dude is skiing Everest - this is intangibly hardcore or just plain stupid. People have done some crazy things, but this is over the top. Yuichiro starts by what looks like straightlining down the face, then deploys a dummy chute to ease the pain. Given the equipment of the time, he does well considering the ugly wind-blown slab that he's on, then he hits the ice & it gets nasty. Miura has skied down the highest mountains on all seven continents; this is but one of those descents. He also became the oldest person to reach the summit of Everest on May 23, 2013.
