A dreadful book, poorly written, full of stereotypes, and boring.

Excellent story of a young woman driving her very demanding 85-year-old grandmother across country from New York to California. The pair had been somewhat estranged for some time because grama did not like her choice of husbands. So this is the last thing this young woman wants to do, but she feels she must do it. As they drive and experience the country together, the woman learns more and more about her grandmother's past, things she never knew. Learning about each other brings them closer than they had ever been before. Funny, heart warming, enjoyable read with a great ending!
