The first three Doctors together=epic!!! The supporting characters are great, too. Jo is quite strong in this story: she gets the Doctors to stop squabbling among themselves and thinks up successful solutions to their problems. The Brigadier is funny, and the toddling Gel Guards are adorable. This story introduces the villain Omega, whose plot arc continues in later episodes.

I also recommend the commentary track and the featurette on 1970's companions.

4 episodes. Doctor Who's 10th anniversary story brings the first three incarnations of the Doctor together for a very fun (if slightly cheesy) adventure. Despite his typical adult seriousness, the 3rd Doctor can really be quite childish at times - and it's very fun to watch!
Admittedly, the scene where Jon Pertwee has to wrestle with "the dark side of [the villain's] mind" is pretty cheesy, and my fellow Americans might chuckle every time someone says "Omega". But it's one of the most enjoyable DW stories I've seen.

If you'd like to find out why I like the Classic Doctor Who better then the modern series, despite the occasional cheesiness, check out my review of "The Sensorites" (a First Doctor story).

Fun scene of two doctors arguing & the first doctor chastising "fool & the dandy".
Actor playing first doctor's frail health explained limited exposure.
Omega was a great villain. Costume just right & no hammy.

This is a great anniversary celebrating the 10th anniversary of Doctor Who back in 1973. This is a treat showcasing the original 3 Doctors and setting the tone for the series in years to come.

If you're a fan of the classic series, this is actually a great story and good for kids of all ages - no scary parts but intense in it's own classical sci-fi sort of way.
