The 8th book in the Betsy-Tacy series. In this book Betsy learns Joe Willard, the boy she met in the summer before her freshman year, wants her to be his girl. She has a hard time balancing her time between Joe and her used to be brotherly friend Tony who has more then brotherly feelings toward her now. Great book for teenage girls who enjoy this time period.
