Powerful introspective. The childhood narrative starts of slowly, but I am glad I haven't given up, because the book gets progressively better, and the second half is captivating. I believe this is a very good read especially for girls and women with difficult family and attachment issues. Without spoilers, I'd say that the crown of the story is celebration of motherhood.
