This is the first fully-realized Damon Albarn solo album featuring twelve songs that invite the listener into Albarn's world for a genuine "one-to-one." They are the most soul-searching and autobiographical since his musical journey began.

Blur's Damon Albarn has been involved in so many projects over the past decade, including Gorillaz and reuniting Blur, that it's a little surprising that this is his first proper solo album. Spare and a little plaintive, it's low-key without being dull and is more consistent than the last Blur record. Brian Eno, whose influence is felt on numerous songs, and Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes) guest.

A nice collection of solo songs from Damon. On the mellow side and a bit eclectic, but shows his musical talent.
