Excellent read. Complex characters with conflict both in personal and criminal intertwinings. Who can be trusted? Who is the real Judas? And who is the champion of moral and ethical standards? Is there one? Australian outback, scenic and sizzling.

very 'atmospheric', a subtle-almost-thriller pace... will look for more from Garry Disher.

A stand alone book, would make a good series!

This is the same book as Bitter Wash Road but published in USA a year later with a different title.
