This is an excellent book, with a gripping story. The best thing about it is its realness: my own father was a man of the cloth, and although he was a good man himself, I observed right from childhood that people forget that ministers, pastors, priests, rabbis, etc, are all sinful individuals, just like the rest of us. It is easy to lose one's path to God, one's own relationship with Him, when you are surrounded by so many people who think you are all that! It is also very hard for a man leading a church to spend time with his own family. Along with the other storyline of a man who has lost his way and who is now reaping in spades what he sowed, is that underlying understanding of those two issues. The book had a satisfying ending, too. I really wonder what others will think of this book....
