Going Interstellar --- edited by Les Johnson & Jack McDevitt. This is a collection of short stories and essays. Jack McDevitt’s name on the cover was the catnip that made me reach for this paperback. It’s a shame that it contains only one, entirely too short contribution. The remaining stories exploring aspects of the theme interstellar travel varied in their appeal to me. I stayed away from the essays: maybe its that word that waved me off. Not bad.
