The Talented Mr. Ripley was easy to read. His continual making trouble for himself then squeaking past his due fate wore me out. Enjoying justice or a hero coming thru in the end, it was bit uncomfortable having this bad guy malinger on. I won’t continue with Highsmith’s well received series for now.

This is three stories - The Talented Mr. Ripley and two others...
The other two are not (in my opinion) as interesting, as well written, as plausible, as imaginative as The Talented Mr. Ripley. But if you like the idea of a truly bad guy as the protagonist (as I do); then you may find the other two stories somewhat enjoyable.

Mr. Ripley is the typical anti-hero in these stories. Likeable, but also a scoundrel, he leads the reader through Europe on his various quests.
