I learned a great deal from this book about relating to my grandson and his reading. Now I will stop getting books for him unless he selects them. And I will ask him for book recommendations and read what he likes. I wish school superintendents would read this book, and stop thinking all children are at the same grade level in reading. That doesn't matter so much.
