I really loved reading this book. Ava was a really interesting character to get to know and getting to find out more about her backstory as the book went on was one of my favourite parts. Rafe’s involvement in everything that happens was very much unexpected and I don’t think I’ve ever read anything like it. The reason why kesley was killed, and who killed her, was honestly a huge shock. I didn’t see it coming at all and it was not something that someone would normally ever see coming in a book. Overall I loved how this story was a lot darker than expected and It kept me guessing until the very end.

The book Frayed is not a very compelling book, but is very interesting near the end.
The book starts of with a girl who lost her older sister and is looking for her murderer. Soon she learns her goody-to-shoes sister was actually part of a group called KARMA that causes trouble in the neighbourhood. In the end you find out that she has a duel personality disorder and killed her sister. I loved the twisted ending but it was pretty hard getting there. This book was lovely but its not a book I would stay up reading. The author was really good at setting up a scene and foreshadowing, as well as dynamic characters. I dont recall any symbolism or irony though. I would recommend this book to any other readers interested in murder mysteries. - Shareen
