If you've ever had a furry soulmate, this moving memoir will resonate. It is both heartbreaking and heartwarming.

I thought I was going to love this book...but so slow and repetitive. I actually just stopped reading it and returned it to the library. Not worth reading.

This memoir about the author's crushing depression, her traumatic childhood, and how she was able to recover herself with the help of her parents, medication, and most of all, her beloved dog Bunker was so heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. Anyone who loves dogs will really love this book. Have the Kleenex ready. Dogs forever!

…our meeting felt like two magnets clacking together, two universes colliding, two hands clasping. I was absolutely sure that this was my dog and that I was meant to find him...Bunker loved me, so fully, clearly, and without exception, helped me remember every day to try to bring that kind of love to myself and others in my life.
